Strawberry Picking at Reily's Farm
June 14. 2009
We had a lot of fun strawberry picking at Reily's farm. Thanks Tim Allen at the PCIV (Pittsburgh Council of International Visitors) for arranging car transport. It was nice to spend a few hours away from Pittsburgh for this well-anticipated group trip with internationals from all over the world.
Ivry picked more strawberries than his little belly could hold. He ate of course faster than he picked. I guess all kids are the same but with Ivry, it is especially obvious. He is such a faithful strawberry picker! Red hair and strawberries is an especially irresistable combination!
The tractor and farm attractions made for a lovely day. Of course, I leave you with this pictures. Until the next harvest... hopefully there won't be such a cold winter...

Ivry's First Day of Camp
I can't believe almost 8 weeks of summer camp at J and R are over. It went much too fast and still they are planning some extra surprises for them this coming week so it will be nice for them.
Nothing however like getting on a school bus for your first experience anywhere... really!
Here's Ivry with his old summer camp bag. The weight of those wet towels breaks right through the plastic. It seems like the first day of camp are million light years behind us.
