Having Free Time

I love lazy Friday afternoons and it's not often I get a chance to sneak peek at my growing list of summer reading. During Shavuot weekend, I jump kicked my reading starting with The Riders by Tim Winton. (I really like the English brawl and Australian dialect. A great mystery thriller) Okay, okay I confess, I never got around to reading it during the middle of the school year; Every slight interruption was a reason not to continue.

With a few more weeks until summer vacation kicks in this part of the world, I'm actually having a breather with lighter lessons leaving me time to think ahead, and to hold Ivry just a little bit more before rushing to the computer.

It's nice to hear the rush of the trees outside, reading Arnold Lobel's Frog and Toad series again and again while managing a yawn.

These are all signs of free time.

Ivry had a sugar high earlier this evening at the reception for a married couple on the kibbutz, but he's finally fallen asleep. Here a few pictures of the little boy in the last couple of days.

So, how do you spend your free time? Does it take you a long time to get adjusted to the fact that you have free time?

Hi, thanks for stopping by my blog. I appreciate your kind observations. I love your photographs. I hope you will find - make - time to continue to post. Your reflections offer a new light on a misunderstood place and way of living.

Thanks for visiting ~ Frog and Toad have always been two of my favorite friends . . .

I don't often have a good amount of free time until all my kids go to bed, and then I spend it writing.

PS - The red hair is just gorgeous!
